There is currently not enough warships committed to the UN Piracy Task Force to do this.
The world is NOT willing to put the resources into this problem to adequately address it.
And, up to now, it has been just a "war where no one got hurt, money changed hands and ships and hostages were released.
Not that pirates are being killed, the pirate are more likely to kill.And regretfully, the US fired the first 3 shots that killed 3 pirates more than a year ago.
