Hi All.
The boat is in Port OConnor Texas. Here is a link

I consider $5,000 a good start. This is a project that is largely
finished. Next week, if all goes well, it could be put in the water
and lived on. Another week or so, and it could be sailed. Give it more
time and it could be pristine. Up to you.
The boat was damaged in Hurricane Ike and due to my commitments and
further situations, I did not have a chance to address the damage
until recently. Never good to wait so long. Long story short, the prop
shaft log has pretty much disintegrated so I have pulled the shaft and
will be plugging and fiber-glassing the hole as my next project. Next
owner can use a 25 hp outboard or re-rig the diesel. Shaft, motor and
spare motor with shop manuals will be included. Note that the original
design called for the now-engine room to be a sleeping compartment and
propulsion to be an outboard.
Just be prepared to sand, paint, sand, paint, etc. The roller furling
system is a Hood and has never been installed. A new Genoa was ordered
at the same time and has thus never been used.
The boat must be moved by May first at the latest as the property
owner has other interested parties for the lots and I will be leaving
For Europe on the 1st.
I am listening.
John
