I used 3m tape for boot stripe. I replaced the original 11 yr old tape which
took a lot of time to remove so I can attest to it's tenacity. I'd never go
back to painting. Phillip, I am replacing my salon windows that are 3/8" x
20" by 50" using sika products. I can't seem to locate the document
explaining the step by step process but here is a link to the product page

their panels using these products. You can get everything from Defender.

That's what I thought. However I am not going to use this as boot stripe
tape. Got some VERY large windows up forward and they leaks a bit. Had them
out twice and reinstalled by "professionals". Still leak. Thought I could
use 2" black boot stripe tape to cover the seam. It would cover from the
plexi to the F.G. Not my favorite solution, but better than duct tape. I'm
desperate.

Well, nice to see the list is working.

Anyone have any experience with bootstripe tape?

There are two brands, MDR and Seafit (West sells it)
