Hello! I think this is quite an easy question.
Am I able to build a 64bit system using the livecd and the 64bit system? echo $MACHTYPE returns i486-pc-linux-gnu, config.guess (like described in the book) returns i686-pc-linux-gnu. AMD Athlon 64 3400+ Do I have to use the CLFS-book? Am I able to build a 64bit system using the livecd? Am I able to build a 32bit system using the livecd? Is anybody out there with a functional build on this architecture? Thanks for your help in advance!
