That is a little bit fuzzy. Why do I need to install lilo in order to use lfs? What the hell is Pure64? Also the homepage isn't that easy to use, I just can't find a simple download area, only the sources and some old svn-versions. It seems that there has to be done a lot of work, so that I am just going to wait some time before testing CLFS > 2) To build a 32-bit system, you may use either of the LFS and CLFS > books. I try to imagine tghat there is a simple i386 notebook infront of me... > 3) If other LiveCD maintainers agree, the x86-6.2-2 or x86-6.2-3 32-bit > LiveCD will include a cross-compiled 64-bit kernel as an option, so that > the "chroot" scenario in 64-bit CLFS starts working. Is it possible to compile a LFS-x86_64 using that kernel, then? > Sorry, I cannot release a fully 64-bit LiveCD because I don't have a > 64-bit processor. I really don't have a own one, too (poor pupils...). A friend of mine is on holidays and he lent me his notebook.
