I think it's perfectly reasonable to just make the (sanitized) preset
name the default suggestion for the filename in the save dialog. If the
user wants to use a different name for whatever reason, I don't see any
need to prevent that, since that's functionality that already exists.

As for reserved filenames such as LPT1, COM1 etc. on windows, /dev/null
on linux (mac os?), etc... there's no way we can account for all of
them, and I don't think we should even bother trying. The user should
know not to use such filenames for saving.
