Hi Andrew, hi Robert.

I ask myself: Does it make sense to only have the possibility to have
sound changes by the Calf Rotaryspeaker and Filterclavier synth, if one
puts these synths into the Out 1 track?

The Out 1 track combines all other tracks with sound data in a MusE file.
Does it make sense to apply these synths to a complete song?

According to me it would make more sense to be able to apply these
synths to individual tracks with sound data in a MusE file.

What are ducking compressors? Sorry for this question, but I am still
learning how to use all MusE features.

Yes, that's correct.
