Hello,

Although it has been a while since I committed my last code (been busy on
other really interesting OS projects), I have looked into the source of
Chainsaw, and I do not feel the level is up to Jakarta standards yet. But
because his efforts to create a project specifically for log4j, I have no
real opinion.

Kind Regards,

Hello all,

Oliver Burn, the author of chainsaw (http://sourceforge.net/projects/logui),
is willing to contribute their code to the log4j core. I propose to give him
committer status.

Here is my +1. We need al least another 2 positive votes from existing
committers. Regards. Ceki
