Initial scan that I've found are (and these are probably just left
over stuff from 1.2.8/9 release)
* LICENSE.txt is 1.1 License. Do we need to update that to 2.0?
* INSTALL file references the old 'jakarta' directory naming days.
Do we want to update that? I'm sure it won't hinder people, but it
will look nicer.
* Do we always create a source and binary combined release? It's
fine if it is, just can't remember to be honest.
* docs/index.html is a page that is a little too "new". For example,
the side bar has a Chainsaw link in it that goes nowhere. Hmmm..
That may be confusing. On the same note the "Download" link within
the distro still says ,"1.2.9". (also references the new Chainsaw 2
as well).
Thats all I can see with a 5 minute glance.

I went ahead with an official build of the current 1_2branch for
the 1.2.11 release. The result is an rc1 version that can be

I want to take a couple days making sure all is happy with this
build since this is my first official build. I would appreciate it
if others can take a look at report if it looks good or if they
find issues.
thanks,
