Now that it's in the kernel (reiserfs at least) it should be. But
again, Linux is a moving target, and it's difficult to keep up with.
For example, folks still want to mention ipchains, but by the time this
test is out, iptables will be what we need to test on. I've already
rolled out iptables (netfilter) at a couple of client sites -- partly
because it fills their needs better.

Pls see the categories I suggested. They have kernel config and modules
as a separate category for just the reason you suggested. I spend 6
hours on kernel/module related stuff with newbies.

I have package handling (RPM/DEB). The rest goes either in Network or
Security.
