Hi All,
Regarding the Boot Managers, new ones are likely to be developed.
But I think that what is more important, is the "Know How" or How to
procedures, rather than the "Which one" procedures.
Something like how they work, what they are supposed to do, etc. (which has
been addressed)
I can see a lot of "running round the bush" so as to speak.
To build objectives, a "START" needs to be done, and as time / technology /
usage increases, so will the objectives. But then, THe Objectives need to
be defined PROPERLY, and started off somewhere soon.
In terms of certification, this is a difficult task, I know.
But certification is supposed to give an understanding of the system, not
the utilities that each one can do.
It is supposed to give an understanding of what is the system, and what the
system can do, not by the utilities that it has, but more by
functionalities.
I mean all of the linux distros, as far as I know, use the same kernel, so
why use different distros in the first place? = the answer again is
functionality. - no matter what you use, it's how you use it, and I belive
that that is what certification should be about.
I wished I had more time to play around with linux, but am stuck at
configuring the ethernet card, so that I can talk to my windows machine.
Thanks and regards,
Menino.
