Regardless of whether the exam is available in Japanese, the old exam should get depreciated asap. The quality of the certification is directly effected by the contents of the exams being up to date. With the rapid pace with which Linux is evolving, certification should also do its best to keep up (Although I realize that this is often very difficult if not impossible).

However, I'll republish a final "publish date" once I have concrete ones with both VUE and Prometric. I have to work out with VUE how to offer both the old and new exams simultaneously. Should we set an expiry date on the old exams, or should they be available everywhere until we end the beta? I'm torn because we aren't publishing the new L1 beta in Japanese, and I don't know if it's fair to remove the english version but not the Japanese. The beta should run for 2 months. We can run it longer, since we are scoring this exam (YAY!!!).
