Well, I am in no official position at LPI, but it seems reasonable to me that any time we may spend discussing L3 objectives on this list might be useful when LPI is ready to move forward in L3 financially. So, lets discuss some things.
I think it is a bit early to try to figure objectives for each topic-specific exam, so let's start by discussing topics that we feel are large/important enough to merit an L3 exam. Some ideas: * Security - there is already a list for this (a mostly inactive list) * Kernel internals - I'm a big fan of this one * Software Design - making software that configures, compiles, installs like standard software. Perhaps using open source widget libraries. * Hardware/software interfacing & Device drivers - This is probably beyond LPI's scope, but might include basic hardware design (USB, serial, PCI) and how to get information from such a device Jason Richey Mark Lachniet wrote: > Hello, > > Has there been any further development on the L3 LPI objectives, or > anything else for that matter lately?
