We do include things not documented in the LSB.  All content changes as 
significant as this with Bash 3.0 are subject to our psychometric 
processes.  If something new is being introduced and adopted into our 
professional's worlds, we need to input tasks for the new technology into 
the task submission form, and subject the new content to a JTA survey.  If 
the new content passes the survey, it gets implemented in the next exam.

While LPI is beginning an agressive publishing schedule for exams, content 
review and objective updating is planning to be done on a 2 year basis.
