Hi, I know the lab exams from Novell and Cisco. The benefit of this kind of test is that you can realy do praxis relevant tests. But it's verry difficult to test the different solution ways. To create different scenarios is also not so easy.
The LPI Test so as we know it from the past is relativ easy for the students to prepare for it. I think we should create questens exam based on the LDAP-SAMBA howto.
