LPI isn't Novell.

LPI pays only a few thousand dollars to each Prometric and Vue to roll
out its exams. Last time I checked, Novell's formats were
_significantly_ more costly ($25,000+) -- let alone it has training and
product sales to off-set those and additional development costs.

Again, this should be shelved for 2007+.

If anyone is willing to fund a 3-year startup to develop and market a
practium-based exam in a vendor-independent organization to do such --
I'm all for it and would like to be employee #1. But then that would
mean they would be interested in making money on training and other
things to off-set those costs long-term.

Something LPI doesn't do, but Novell does.
