First, I like the idea, I think it's appropriate for supervisors, as well as regular end users. But I agree with Simone's point, and I would go a bit further. IMO, arguments and loops are a bit much for such users in addition, Linux users at an intro level are more interested in the Desktop; that suggests an exam more focused on customizing the GUI.
