C'mon, at least the monies start flowing the other way at that point. And are you talking the teaching assistant part or the research assistant part? I guess some places are worse than others whereas an undergrad degree is fairly uniform across universities. One of my colleagues spent 7 years to get a master's degree. And he had to push hard for that. They didn't think the degree should take less than 9 years...Yes, I think that they were abusing the power but I also know that there are graduate programmes that aren't run like that. TTYL, -- G.
