I just know a few server farms, so my experience is quite limited, but I do not remember having seen a server with LILO (also Slackware ones) for many years. Anyway there is a difference between what a professional should be capable of, and what you require to study for a certification. Because also knowing how to setup a PXE boot should be known, as it has far more uses now than LILO, which knowledge is just about maintenance of legacy installation (if some "professional sysadmin" would propose me to use LILO on new installations I will certainly search for another one). You cannot ask people to know everything when certifying, you have to choice topics that have the most relevance. I'm stating that LILO, as many other arguments, today does not have this kind of relevance.
