Unwise or not, the certification needs to follow it’s scheduled refresh.

Whatever the state of the System V/systemd/Upstart wars, the JTA will take care 
of it.

After all, we are a *reflection* of the state of the industry, not a 
trend-setter or marketing organization, as are some of those discussed.
