Another disadvantage is that some jetdirect cards tend to hang from time
to time when they are receiving jobs from multiple nodes. I've had this
problem when printing directly from (several) win9X. The only solution was to
reset the printer. Also, the queue information you get is not always correct,
specially if you ask for that information when a job is coming in.

You can also do accounting, filtering,etc.

I have about 110 stations (solaris, sunos,linux,irix,windows,etc) and recently
I changed to centralized printing (mainly because of accounting)
The only problem I've had is when I forgot to turn on the print server
after a blackout :-)
