FYI FWIW: As the author of lpinfo, I can assure you that while
it hasn't changed in a while, we use it for production use at
a LARGE site every day ... just hasn't been a need to tweek it.

Not saying it has everything in there ... nor that it does
not have bugs ... but it works pretty well in our environment.

It IS a bit of work to install (there's also some nifty bells & whistles),
and the Perl code is UGLY ... but I'm always open for bug fixes and/or
code enhancements and (assuming they are "reasonable") would be happy
to feed 'em back into the source stream.
