Not realy, as it has the side effect of sending the request directly
to the remote where I wan't the request to go to the local server
first.  The remote is one of the dumb things that don't do spooling
so spooling occurs on the local server.  It is also for the same
reason the local printer name is different from the printer name on
the remote.  For real lpd server you can always ensure that local
and remote printer names are the same and for those you might also
prefer to bypass the local print server as well.

Specifying the printer as host%printerport would probably be a work
around.
