Sorry to fill the list. Maybe my wording was incorrect. The page counter works fine and is incremented at every new impression (page). Retrieving it via PJL or SNMP will give the correct result. BUT it is only written into non volatile memory every 10 pages. When accounting, you may loose up to 9 pages if you switch the printer (HPs only ???) off and then back on. When you retrieve the value, it's the RAM based counter which you receive, not the NVRAM based one, so all looks correct until you switch off on a non 10 boundary. bye Jerome Alet -- "A non-free program is a predatory social system that keeps people in a state of domination and division, and uses the spoils to dominate more." - RMS ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- YOU MUST BE A LIST MEMBER IN ORDER TO POST TO THE LPRNG MAILING LIST The address you post from MUST be your subscription address If you need help, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (or lprng-requests or lprng-digest-requests) with the word 'help' in the body.
