Tim,

What version of LTSP are you using ?

The X_MOUSE_DEVICE in the lts.conf file is the correct place
to specify the mouse device.  /dev/ttyS0 should work for you.
The other setting you need is the X_MOUSE_PROTOCOL. The
value of that depends on what kind of mouse you have.  You might try
'Microsoft' or 'Logitech'.

if that still doesn't work, then send us a copy of your lts.conf file.
