Jim, Tim, I don't know if this would cause other people problems but when I first went to ltsp 2.09xxx from 2.08 I had problems cause I was still modifying the lts.conf in /tftpboot/lts/ltsroot/etc/ and none of my changes had any affect on my Terminals
So I thought I'd throw this one out cause hell it happened to me. Good luck Matt -----Original Message----- From: Jim McQuillan [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, December 12, 2001 7:29 AM To: Timothy Legge Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [Ltsp-discuss] Serial mouse with ltsp 3.0 Tim, What version of LTSP are you using ? The X_MOUSE_DEVICE in the lts.conf file is the correct place to specify the mouse device. /dev/ttyS0 should work for you. The other setting you need is the X_MOUSE_PROTOCOL. The value of that depends on what kind of mouse you have. You might try 'Microsoft' or 'Logitech'. if that still doesn't work, then send us a copy of your lts.conf file. Hope that helps, Jim McQuillan [EMAIL PROTECTED] Timothy Legge wrote: >Hi > >I have a workstation that does not recognize the serial mouse.
