This sounds serious,

    I think I'd call Red Hat.  You may very well have a memory leak or
something.  Also, perhaps you could make Netscape as client
resident.  Netscape is statically linked meaning that each instance of it
uses a huge amount of RAM.  StarOffice 5.2 also uses a lot more memory
than does StarOffice 6.0, because it doesn't share componants with the
OS--it duplicates everything.  It does, however, share componants among
each of the StarOffice applications.  That's why StarOffice takes a long
time to load and runs faster once it's been loaded and used a little.

I am eagerly anticipating the release of StarOffice 6.0.  I presume it
will be very soon..
