Hi gang,

I am trying to make our HP1000 printer working on local terminal.

The printer has only 1 MB of RAM and 32 kb (!) of ROM and is USB only.

The firmware of the printer must be uploaded after turning it on.

On a regular Linux workstation, I have to put the *img file in the
/etc/printer so the workstation send the file to the printer whenever it
detects it on the USB port.

Theoretical and real experience suggestions welcomed.
Cheers

Sylvain
