Hi gang, I am trying to make our HP1000 printer working on local terminal.
The printer has only 1 MB of RAM and 32 kb (!) of ROM and is USB only. The firmware of the printer must be uploaded after turning it on. On a regular Linux workstation, I have to put the *img file in the /etc/printer so the workstation send the file to the printer whenever it detects it on the USB port. Theoretical and real experience suggestions welcomed.
