I was going to ask if you restarted the server too.

Everytime I start a new install of LTSP on any server, Debian, RedHat... I
always get all services running except xdmcp, usually a server restart gets
it going.

And my ltspadmin services says xdmcp is not running, when it clearly is.

Just a thought!

Subject: [Ltsp-discuss] xdmcp

Having real problems with getting xdmcp to run. Have tried all the
howtos & help on the wiki to no effect & been trying on & off for
several weeks now.

I have no trouble getting X, dhcp etc to run on my terminals. I am
running xdm without other problems on the server. I have gone through
the setup routing several times to no effect. It says xdmcp not running.
I have checked all xdm files against all the help I can find to no
effect & can find nothing in the logs to see what is going wrong.

I hace had LTSP running before but stopped for a while while I dealt
with other priorities when I got a new server.

Will put up any info that will help but don't want to put up a load of
stuff which is not of any help so let me know what may help & I'll
gladly put it up.

Steve
