Thank you for your reply. You know, I was thinking last night about this very same thing - that all I should need is to copy the kernel files from my current LTSP 4.2 install over to the new SuSE 11 box, and try loading that to get the etherboot clients to work. But then I thought that maybe it would need all the drivers for that version of the kernel. ?? I don't know. Maybe I'll give it a try later today or so when I have more time.
I remember the post you are referring to. I don't think it will help in this case, as I still have to have that initial file to load on the client. You hadn't had your coffee yet this morning... well I'm not much of a morning person, either, so it's going to have to wait a couple of hours until I can think more clearly.
