My TC is HP5735. If that can not deal with the ssh encryption fast enough, I am not sure what level of TC was targeted with this feature :) Also, why would only Java applications be affected? At any rate, the thought did occur to me: > Don't use encryption. see DIRECTX I have LDM_DIRECTX=true in the [default] section of my lts.conf. It helps a little - maybe. The speed I mentioned (seconds for simple clicks) is *with* encryption disabled. Again, Java applications run extremely slowly on the remote X server. What can I do to troubleshoot this?
