Now I'm still a bit confused, but stuff going onto the main repo usually gets packaged as a rock: http://www.luarocks.org/en/Types_of_rocks So that is a snapshot of the source at the point of uploading to the repo? Fabio or Hisham, like to comment? It would be cool BTW if there was a mirror for the main repo, living somewhere central like Europe.
