That sounds perfect.

So I updated the luaconf.h patch section a bit to include the ability to
require modules in the current working directory using the 'init.lua' as the
entry point. (eg. ./pl/init.lua)
This is only for the Lua version. Can you add this? (p.s. I am not that good
with patch so it might be able to be done better)

I forked the gist so you can easily merge it. I also updated the luarocks
install to 2.0.4.1.
