The rpm is there on CD2 (assuming you are using SuSE 8.0), if you can't get hold of the CD then I'll put it on ftp site for you to download.

I actually made an upgrade from 7.2 to 8.0 . However I have been able to
use the ripe.net website that has a web basedfrontend for whois.
