I haven't been back home in ages, so I can't say what's *hot*, but I know the
work from TrueAfrican and SMSMedia attracted a lot of Internet traffic across
the exchange, well, at least that's what it looked like from AfOL-UG's
perspective. Traffic grew steadily.

Badru is right, for the exchange to make any significant benefit of its
creation, there has to be local/regional content that will drive traffic
levels up. Connecting to the KE and Tz IX's would be a great, but we need to
see some more local traffic.

Well, you could try setting up a www.yahoo.co.ug :). They have it in the UK,
France, e.t.c., and the locals tend to use a lot more of the local portals,
especially during the sign-up process, because of the ability to choose your
country... anyway, you get the point.

Mark.
