There are no Mango Share Cards for 2,000/=, one has to spend 10,000/= before
doing any sharing.

Hey Gitta

This is a half empty/half full glass kind of argument. All points of view
have their positives. My take is that for the upscale market, the MTN
service of forwarding airtime via an SMS is more convenient when you want
to share with others. As for the Mango Share service, it is very
convenient for those of us who occassionally have the small denominations
and yet would still want to buy some air time. I mean take it from me, the
number of people likely to buy a Ushs 2000 airtime Pin Code is far higher
than those that will buy one of Ushs 5000. So probably mango's strategy is
to reach out to the low end of the market spectrum and allow them to spend
in quantities that they are more comfortable with. The most ironic thing
is that some of these guys might end up spending Ushs 10000 on airtime but
in bits of Ushs 2000 yet if you told them to buy a card of Ushs 10000 at
ago, they will riot :-).

These are all market dynamics in my view that are arrived at hopefully
with some good research background. Unfortunately some of them sometimes
backfire right from the word go but again I will not hesitate to say that
the mango Share is quite interesting.
