Very good point, many people will actually struggle with new technologies
initially, before they learn how to use a service

But it still doesn't mean we should stick to the notebook approach, just
because it's simpler and most people are more comfortable with it. Imagine
the benefits that the notebook company misses out on vis-�-vis the database
using company. I'd much rather just "send the sms" than have to scratch and
then send....
