Hmmmm well since it wasn't that scary we just rotated (as in shifts) amongst ourselves not much hardware/software related disaster recovery .Besides not much worry. Was mainly human awareness and a case of  vigilance. However can't deny that, I organised a few conf files  beyond borders. One man said "Always life comes first, never run for backups in such situations besides.................. what if the owners don't survive" :-)

With all due respect, please transfer this talk to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]. Noah posted details of how to
subscribe. I dont think it is appropriate for us to
continue talking about how a tear gas canister narrowly
missed colliding with your nose or that call that came
in from the village while you were running for dear
life e.t.c I personally classify that as gossip in
regard to this list and should be taken to the
appropriate fora like bars or restaurants.

Maybe to keep this line of thread on topic, we can discuss
whether anyone's (service/network) disaster recovery
plans have been called upon during this period, and if
so, have they been properly implemented.

Mark.
