Being Brave I tried the text mode. This completed successfully, but
the most annoying bit was that once the system booted comfortably, the
system couldn't start the GUI nor allow me to use "Cntrl+Alt+F"keys. I
just had to go back to the "next-next" OS after five failed
installation. I even tried SuSE 10.0 and 9.1 without any sucess,
though I would have preferred the FC4 I had at the time. The windows
installation shows ATI Radeon Mobility 9000.
works on the d600 here.Suse 10,ubuntu and fc4.
