I don't know if you were at Bram's lecture but he mentioned these guys.

www.cacert.org free certificate service. Not as well known as the others but
still not bad, if you need to certificate service.

P.S. Is he coming back this year? As he works at google.com now and might
have some interesting anecdotes?
