Hi Joseph, it is not hosted in uganda. Ubuntu is just totally ready for a Ugandan repository. Once that is running, and Canonical (the makers of ubuntu) confirm it works, they will point ug.archive.ubuntu.com to that local ugandan repository. The cool thing is, that nobody will have to change his/her settings, but the whole ugandan ubuntu community will then automagically reap the benefit of local internet speed.
