I tested yesterday, and got the same results as Reiner, this is to be
expected, since we are on the same ISP. However, I tested from
several different places in the Inet topology and got mixed results.
(Some .ug [name]servers replied, some didn't ...ping, dig & WHOIS).

In any case, CFI is addressing the issues.
Some of my queries yesterday to boxen in UG went overseas (perhaps the
source of timeouts?), but now the routing seems to have come back:

>tracert wawa.eahd.or.ug

Tracing route to wawa.eahd.or.ug [216.104.200.23]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

Trace complete.

This all goes back to ongoing local hosting discussions, Charles,
would it be possible for you to come up with stats (before next
Tuesday would be ideal) to tell the community how many .ug domains are
hosted inside IP blocks held by UG providers and their customers? What
percentage, etc.
