So I guess its widely available and widely used. I think this thread began when
someone asked about FM tuner for iphone. I hope there are reading and are
comforted knowing that all is not lost. Capital Fm on you iphone is no longer a
dream.

Side note; is your name really ‘wire’?

I own one and where I bought it from, you will be lucky to find one on the
shelf coz each time they stock, people rush to finish them.

There is an ipod fm tuner-remote that has been available since 2006.
Unfortunately no one is buying it, and ipod users are not making much
noise for its full integration into the ipod family (iphone included).
Zune and sandisk have fm tuners, but not many people are jumping ship so
that they get their FM fix. Why would you listen o FM anyway when you
can have thousands of songs with no commercials.

Apple has an official FM tuner for the iPod already. if you have an iPod
nano or an iPod that supports video, you can "listen to FM radio on your
iPod and control everything with a convenient wired remote. You also get
a set of earphones with a shorter cable that's a perfect fit for the
remote."

All this for only $49. Plus, it's integrated with the iPod's built-in
software (check your Settings to see the hidden functionality) and
doesn't require any batteries because it's powered by the iPod

So they can milk more money from future "buyer-regret'ers"
by coming out with yet-a-newer-iPhone.

I'm onto Steve, and I don't like his style, but that's life :-).
