Mark, I can't be exact on this price as I haven’t bought Cisco Switches in a bit of time, however the last we wanted 3760's they were almost 2 times the price for the Extreme x450.
Also in terms of functionality, we found the QoS on the Extremes much better for VoIP especially, also on pound for pound comparison, we have found extreme a better switching solution that Cisco and have consequently chose extreme on the backbone and also in the enterprise. You could have a look at the white papers and decipher them further to see the differences.
