I too am not sure what g1 is supposed to be, a phone or version one of
the android os. Im sure more details will be coming out in the next few

I am a little confused though. Does the G1 refer to this particular 
phone or the release of Google Android? Are we not going to see 20-30 
different handsets coming out with the OS a la Windows Mobile, in which 
case does that not mean any mistakes will be rectified by the next 
company to release a Google Android phone? For example the design.

Is anyone out there trying to hack a iphone to run google android? 
Surely that would be a truely amazing combination?
