If we're talking about whether Linux is easier to use than OS X, or vice versa, we have to consider this from the point-of-view of Joe Blog on the street corner.
Our views, as members on this 'lug', are biased because we can, pretty much, dig ourselves out of any problems we may face with Windows, Linux, UNIX or OS X. We have to step into the user's shoes and think about, objectively, what they would feel more comfortable with after coming from a Windows background (which they, likely, haven't mastered either). Their choice may not necessarily represent our values, but like McTim said, you can't please everyone. Mark.
