Hari Kurup, that is like comparing apples to oranges, no pun intended. The number one way a virus spread is because of actions by the user. Just because someone uses a more secure system does not mean that the owner will be protected from all viruses, their own computing habits will lead to their computer getting infected no matter what OS they use. I guess Apple realises this and is recommending to its customers to take extra precautions.
