Ziggy, you will find that Google's projected earnings might feature China a
lot. On Past figures, yes they can ditch China. But going forward?

The other factor of course is the effect the continued stay in China or not
will have on the likes of Baidu.

They actually can , Less than 2 percent of Google's $21.8 billion in

revenue came from China last year, according to Jefferies & Co. Google

rose $2.76 to $589.85 yesterday on the Nasdaq Stock Market. The stock has

almost doubled in the past year.

 

You have to cultivate good relationships with the government, so i we

would therefore assume Google is not really making so much money in china

and can therefore leave it or do what they want.
