The potential pay-off is bigger if the product is successful. I think litigation is an official line of business in companies of such sizes - especially regarding copyright / patent infringement. Normally they won't bother you if your company (or the product itself) is still small. Why shut you down now when you could potentially earn them $Xmillion if they let you develop the product for 5 more years? Regards, Gerald
