Thanks guys, So far ive managed to get him pspp ( linux version of SPSS and he seems to love it. But now i have a bit of a problem installing RevMan. How can i do that. I have tried out all options given on the internet but failed. The option thats available on google is installing RevMan 5 on FEDORA.
Reinier, i like you idea of setting up a cache but do you think he can still be able to get downloads or updates because the University has put a policy of not downloading anything. They are doing this because although they use Linux, they have another side that uses windows that has always been complaining of viruses. So he can only use the internet but can't get updates because they are blocked.
